Tensoplast sport is an adhesive elastic bandage with variable elastic memory.
The variable elastic memory allows tensoplast sport to modulate its elastic return to vary the traction force exerted on the bandage at the time of application. Up to a 50% extension, the bandage behaves like a normal elastic bandage, fully recovering its original length. When the extension exceeds its maximum (after 50%) the bandage loses its tensile-elastic properties and acquires a completely rigid structure resistant to any further stress.
